I did nothing , it is server side problem , so most probably your hosting solved this issue.

However i’m glad everything works again now

you were right – it wasn’t solved yet..
but now it is. The hosting provider told me the problem was the PHP version – apparently the version needed is PHP 5.6. and I was using PHP 5.5. – they upgraded my PHP version and now everything works perfect.
(posting this just in case it might help other people with the same error..)
