Using localhost, browser=firefox.
Right after install i got the messages here-under:

Notice: Undefined property: stdClass::$id in C:xampphtdocstemplatesja_simplihelper.php on line 65

Notice: Undefined property: stdClass::$home in C:xampphtdocstemplatesja_simplihelper.php on line 67

on the homepage. No menu was shown.

Hi,

These notice messages may due to the different in PHP version you’re using on your server, you can get rid of these notices by going to Admin Panel > Global Configuration > Server > set Error Reporting to None. These notices actually don’t affect functions on your site.
