    Hi everyone,

I’m dutch and new to this forum. So please excuse me for my gramma.

My boss asked me to transfer http://www.the-hotel-booker.com to his server on trafego. After he bought it with godaddy. I’ve uploaded the website, imported the files and database. Changed the configuration file of joomla to match the new situation. And had the site up and running for a day or two.
The problem was that the website was only able to load when Mozilla firefox was used. It was showing up blank in IE and even in Chrome and Opera. So I had to install it all over again. But this time it ain’t showing up in any browser.
The site won’t load as soon as I assign the JA_Travel template. But if I assign any other one it shows up. I’ve already decompressed the site again and watch for any errors. Uploaded the template again to the web server with no errors. But no change. I’m getting a time out error.
Fatal error: Maximum execution time of 30 seconds exceeded in /home/mini/domains/the-hotel-booker.com/public_html/plugins/system/jat3/core/head.php on line 491

And a solution is to change the php.ini file, but this wouldn’t fix the problem.

What could I do? I need the look of JA_travel so another template just wont do. Uploading the site again solved dipshit.
I think the problem is somewhere with the jat3 framework, so would I need to build up the framework again. And start from scratch?

I’ve looked everywhere for solutions so I hope someone here can help me out.

    A desperate developer.:((

After reading similar post. I got a bit further. Ive changed some file permissions settings. But still everything is going slowly. Must I really change the php.ini files in my cloud to resolve the problem?

    Hi,

You can disable SEF and try again, but i have to let you know that this is a commercial template and it appears that you don’t have a valid subscription with us so can you please tell me how you got this template ?

    Regards

    Hi Manos,

I’ve disabled SEF. That didn’t help much. But what helped is changing some file permissions. But I don’t want to put the whole website open with 777. So I need to know on what directories to focus.

The site is working now in firefox and other webkit based browsers. But in IE9 the home page is not showing. Also the logo’s won’t appear in his full width, in every browser.

My boss bought the website. It was originally hosted on godaddy. But because we got our own server we redirected it, with A-records. Towards my IP.

I’m not know with the template or the affiliate program behind it. So it could be that the website is allowed for another IP address than mine.

I hope you can help me with fixing the last 5% of the website.

    Kind Regards,

    Femi

    Hi,

There is no reason to chmod any directory to 777!!! This is probably a problem with your server, is suPHPexec installed on your server ?
Maybe you should try to CHOWN this folder ( this site folder ) on your server.

Also you might need to upgrade some modules and/or plugins on this site but you need active subscription for that.

Update: Btw your site displays correct on IE 9

    Hi,

Well I have to look up if suPHPexec is installed on the system. I’m not sure about that. But I’ve took ownership over all the files I’ve uploaded.

And I haven’t updated any modules. Because on the original server it worked. So I tried to get it working without a drastic update. But I will give a look at it.

And you’re correct. It works in IE9 now :D. That’s already a big load of my mind.

Thank you for your help and I will keep you updated.

    Kind Regards,

    Femi
