I installed this template using the quickinstall and shortly after I began making changes I noticed this error appearing on various pages:
Line: 165
Char: 7
Error: ‘document.formvalidator’ is null or not an object
Code: 0The line number is different on different pages, but the same “Error:’document.formvalidator'” apears.
I thought it was something I had done so I did a complete reinstall and found that the template produces this error right out of the box.
Thinking it was something peculiar with my setup, I visited the template demo site and the same error appears there. I’ve looked at three other sites using JA Teline II and all produce the same error.
I’ve also viewed my site on three different computers and I’m getting the error on all three.
Can this bug be fixed?

I guess I am spoiled in my *other* template club…just joined here, did a stock install, and ran into this and a couple others I posted about, but zero response. I quit. Lesson learned.

Me too experience this, using telinee II on J1.5.3 native.

May 22, 2008 at 2:08 am #250077I see yours also has the text logo issue, too…right of the box.
If you click on ‘world’ in the demo (Martinsville Daily on your site), the logo doesn’t assume the menu color until the onmouseover/hover…ten it turns red. This is the case on a few of the menu items.

Looks like we’ve got a verifiable error that you can’t duplicate.
Any suggestions? This is a super high-quality looking template, except the error.

bywatt, have you done anything with IE7 or Teline II as I can’t either reproduce the error on your site?
I still receive the error message on my site as soon I have f.i. clicked on “World” > “Read more” and returns to the frontpage. After this I have the message all the time. I am using IE 7. If doing the same steps at the Teline II demosite then I get the same results (
I attach a screendump from Joomlart below.

Moderator – we’ve got two now with mulitiple computers getting this error with IE7 ove multiple websites using this template.
The error is apparent on the demo site as well.
