I was set up on shared hosting but recently switched to dedicated. When I did this JA Comment works in the front end but in the admin there is a problem with moderating comment. Everything else works fine.

This is the error when I view the JA Comment component in admin or if i choose comment moderation.

Fatal error: Call to undefined function mb_internal_encoding() in /home/livefro/public_html/components/com_jacomment/helpers/jahelper.php on line 2144

Right now i am only able to moderate comments from the front end.

Any help with this is appreciated.

    Thanks!

I have the same problem now.

Call to undefined function mb_internal_encoding() in /home/portroot/public_html/components/com_jacomment/helpers/jahelper.php on line 2160

Going through all that…any pointer would be appreciated.
