After the Read More link I am getting the following warning appearing:

Notice: Undefined variable: splitter in/my site name etc…/modules/ja_news/headlineloader.php on line 197

Is this something I’ve done wrong or has is anyone else experiencing this?

Since I posted this I found that the JA News Module had been updated. Unfortunately this has not sorted the problem. For now, because I’ve realised that the problem only occurs after the first auto-roll, I turned it off, but as this change was ignored I’ve had to configure the “Number of headline news” to 1. At least now the error notices don’t come up, but then neither is it revolting (sic) anymore.

Update:
I came across similar error lines on another component. This got me thinking about error reporting. I went into Joomla Global Config and turned off error reporting. I then switched the features back on in the JA News module and now everything works as it should.

The only thing I find a little disconcerting is why there are apparently errors but that these don’t seem to affect anything. I just hope they don’t come back to haunt me!:D
