I installed the Rochea template and joomla 1.5.3 using the quick start files. Now when I try to access any of the articles I get the error:

“Fatal error: Call to a member function update() on a non-object in /home/efgpjouo/public_html/store2/libraries/joomla/html/editor.php on line 198”

What’s the remedy for this? Should I reinstall joomla and the rochea template?

I’m also getting errors “cannot load the editor” when I try to access the category and section manager and some of the modules in the module manager.

I’m on Mac OSX using Firefox 2.0.

Have you tried with another template as default?
Have you tried without using the quick start package?

When you access the section/category manager, do you access it from http://yoursite or http://www.yoursite?
Also try to add your live site url to the configuration.php file:

var $live_site = 'http://www.yourlivesite.com';
