Hi
Just installed a v2.5 version of JAMinisite and on first start-up got the following error on the home page.
“JFolder::create: Could not create directory”
The error pops up above main content and below top.topsl-2 (user9) just above the main content and to the left of left/middle.right
I have had a 1.7 version running on same local machine quite happily whilst I’m learning and thought I’d do a quick clean up
and start again with a version 2.5 install.Other pages seem fine.
Currently this is only running on my mac air with no

March 10, 2012 at 7:53 am #442867OS X is known for a few problems with Joomla and permissions.
Try this: Open terminal
sudo chown -R _www ~/Sites/joomla/
sudo chmod -R ugo+rwx ~/Sites/joomla/Obviously change the path to your one!!
A good way to solve permissions is to use Admin Tools from Akeeba.
