Hi there,

I have been a client of Joomlart for years [under different client accounts] and this is the 1st time that I have had such an installation issue…

First off the QuickStart doesn’t work as is explained in:

I solved that and fixed collation on Database and Table levels using the tool found here:

BUT now it’s still a mess:

1. in the backend,
Warning: Creating default object from empty value in /home/thesvetshop/public_html/libraries/cms/application/administrator.php on line 214

AND

most views say:
Error
The template for this display is not available.

The template for this display is not available.

2. in the front-end, the images related to Virtuemart don’t show up – if you do an Inspect Element, the paths are corrupt:

<a href=”/index.php/component/virtuemart/shoes�������������������������������������������������������������������������������������������������������������������������������������������������������������������������������������������/bio-leather-sandal������������������������������������������������������������������������������������������������������������������������������������������������������������������������������-detail?Itemid=0″>

The same server is running other installations even of other Joomlart templates under a different hosting account without any issues!

HELP, I don’t like starting a site with a corrupted installation like this and disappointed that you would publish a Quickstart this messed up which we have to pay for… 🙁

Hi there,

I found the solution for the:

Warning: Creating default object from empty value in /home/thesvetshop/public_html/libraries/cms/application/administrator.php on line 214

and Backend issues but the Front-End issue still is here with the VirtueMart images!!!

Solution:

You just have to re-save whichever Front-End and Back-End Templates you use as Default.

NOW, please help with the Virtuemart issue – Thanks!!!
