Hi.
We first got this error in the Teline_IV template version 1.2.4 when saving/apply a new width or do any other changes in Profiles in the Template:
<blockquote>An error has occured when saving Global Settings.. Array </blockquote>

Then we upgraded JA T3 Framework from version 1.2.2 to 1.2.3 and now we got another error like this:
<blockquote>An error has occured when saving the default profile..
Operation failed: Failed to open file for writing.</blockquote>
Which file are this error refer to? What can we do about it?

Hi again.

Now it works on that host/ISP. Which file or folder had the wrong permission?

We are changing host/ISP and we are building up the SIte there, but we also have problem changing Template width there. The error is:
<blockquote>An error has occured when saving the default profile..
Operation failed: Failed to open file for writing.</blockquote>
We have tried 777 on the configuration.php file.

We also got error installing components and modules via Joomla Install. The error is:
<blockquote>Unable to write entry</blockquote>

We have also tried Install from Directory with this error:
<blockquote>JFolder::create: Could not create directory
Installer::install: Failed to create directory. “/var/www/vhosts/fluefiskesiden.no/httpdocs/components/com_fpss/images</blockquote>
The folder components is now 777. We have set all folders that we see in System Info/Directory Permissions to 777 when trying.

I installed a plugin via “Install form Directory” with no problem (Google Analytics). Why did that work when the components and modules that I try give errors?

(Safe_mode is ON, is this causing problems?).
