Webpage turns blank and i am unable to update the joomla version from 3.2 to 3.3
I get the error: Duplicate column name ‘extra_query’ SQL=ALTER TABLE `npynt_update_sites` ADD COLUMN `extra_query` VARCHAR(1000) DEFAULT ”;
i AM able to login to backend

Hi there,

Apology for the delay due to weekend.

If you Joomla update did not run smoothly, I advise you:

1 Install Akeeba Backup extension
2 Use it to create a full backup of your main web-site
3 Create a new test database called, for example, “dev”
4 Create a new sub-folder called, for example, /dev/
5 Upload created in step 2 full backup archive into /dev/ sub-folder
6 Download Akeeba Kickstart from https://www.akeebabackup.com/download.html
7 Unpack it somewhere onto your hard drive and take notice of the kickstart.php file
8 Upload the kickstart.php onto your /dev/ sub-folder
9 Point your browser to http://www.ogoninews.com/dev, click “Enter” and follow the onscreen instructions to install a clone of your web-site into /dev/ sub-folder and “dev” database.

Please let us know once finished and we’ll happily have a look around your system to see what causes the update to fail.
