Hi,

I am set up with JOOMLA 1.0.15. I am attempting to set up the layout of JA Galena. I am in the Installers/Template-Site section of my administration panel. I browse for the .zip package for JA Galena and I receive these errors

ERROR: Could not find an XML setup file in the package.

Installation file not found:
/home/kansasc1/public_html/home/media/install_4870c75161aa9/

How do I resolve this to proceed?

Try to unzip the package at your computer, do you get more zip file inside that folder then? For me it sounds like you are installing the quickstart package and not only the template

Hmmm, yes. What I have been used to in the past is just to download the file and upload the entire .zip into the Template-Site. I am somewhat new to the joomla. So, I unzipped the JA-Galena and I saw ja_galena_template. I will attempt with just that.

I uninstalled 1.0.15 and am trying with 1.5.3. I don’t care too much for which version I am using. I figured a file could have been missing with the 1.0.14.

I will see how this goes and post about it. Thanks for your help…..:)
