I keep getting the error

Unknown Archive type
Update path does not exist

Error updating COM_INSTALLER_TYPE_TYPE_.

I followed the instructions on http://www.joomlart.com/forums/topic/extensions-are-not-updating-properly-keeps-asking-me-to-update-same-extensions-over/ and entered in my login info and it still does not work properly.

Hi plusev,

Which extensions did you update and face this issue? JA Extension manager component should be used to update JA products only.

If you’ve already entered correct login info but problem still persists, you can pm me admin account of your site, I will check for you then.

In the JoomlArt Extension manager is there a way to filter so that only stuff that needs updates to show up?

You need to go to this JAEM component and manually check extension /template you want to update 🙂

Umm I updated all the stuff manually via JAExtension manager and this still keeps appearing.

Because Joomla still caches the old info of previous version, follow this tips to get rid of these update message: http://wiki.joomlart.com/wiki/JA_Extensions_Manager/How-to#Known_issues
