I get this error:
Warning: require_once(/administrator/components/com_virtuemart/global.php) [function.require-once]: failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /components/com_virtuemart/virtuemart_parser.php on line 74
Fatal error: require_once() [function.require]: Failed opening required ‘/administrator/components/com_virtuemart/global.php’ (include_path=’.:/usr/lib/php:/usr/local/lib/php’) in /components/com_virtuemart/virtuemart_parser.php on line 74
Why????
How do I fix it?

Hi,
I wonder how do you fix it?
I have the same error but couldn’t figure out how to fix it except changing the permission to 775 (the max my web hosting allows).
I also have 500 Server error for product details (but not shop browse). Are these related :confused:
Thanks in advanced!
October 12, 2008 at 11:32 am #274843All I did was read the installation instructions and realised that I had not installed the three virtuemart modules first before the three JA modules.
The three virtuemart mods are:
* mod_virtuemart_featureproduct module
* mod_virtuemart_cart module
* mod_virtuemart_currency module
The three JA mods:
* JA Slideshow module
* [vm-lp] JA Vmproductslide module
* [ja-news] JA New module
If you go to for 1.5:

I have mod_virtuemart_featureproduct and JA Vmproductslide modules installed and disable price/cart functions. I think it should stil work since I do have the “missing” file.
EDIT: I install the other two and it still does not work. I’ll disable it for the time being since the VM Featured Products work so far.
Thanks anyway 🙂
October 13, 2008 at 7:20 am #274983if I unpublish VM Featured Products, I get the error again?

December 7, 2008 at 1:07 pm #281635any solution for this ? same problem for me when i unpublish the VM Featured products , not the mod_ja_vmproductslide.
If i disable both, it works perfectly.
I would like to keep the mod_ja_productslide WITHOUT the vm_featured products.
Any idea ?
