    Hello

    1. I installed the component and plugins and set it up first as S3 storage. it is working fine and the images are correctly shown.

    2. Then , i wanted to use the cloudfront and the 16 locations distribution, I activated it on Amazon console.
the CloudFront: Distributions maintenance screen, tells me that the status is deployed and in one column I have the cloudfront domain name.

some letter and numbers ending in .cloudfront.net

I tried to enter this information in the bucketmanager in the field : Cloud Front Domain
I entered the complete information ie with the .cloudfront.net and then only the first part of the domain. in both cases
I get an error whey trying to save. the error is

500 – An error has occurred.
cURL resource: Resource id #257 cURL error: error:140773E8:SSL routines:SSL23_GET_SERVER_HELLO:reason(1000) (35)

    Or

500 – An error has occurred.

cURL resource: Resource id #324 cURL error: Unknown SSL protocol error in connection to bucketname.s3.amazonaws.com:443 (35)

however I selected HTTP and not HTTPS

Curl is enabled on the server .

Is there a specific requirement or other setting to do in order to use the cloudfront. I could not see any information on the forum

    thank you for your answer

    Hi latitude26uk,

Based on the error description, i think cURL library of your hosting is old. Please upgrade to the latest cURL version in your hosting. If you still face the error, please send pm to me your site information (admin + ftp account), i will check again for you.

Same here, what is the fix?

I addes the Cloud Front Domain directly into the Database. It works – or it seems so. Can I do this or can make this problems?

I ended up doing the same thing. Must be a bug in the code that is preventing editing of the bucket setup in the frontend after initial setup.

I think ist is – or was (I dont know, I will test it again) a problem with the file permissions. I added the URL directly into the database and it works like a charme.
