Hello,
i use this template since a long time with joomla 2.5.8.
now i have an error at frontpage
Warning: Creating default object from empty value in /home/www/renergie/modules/mod_janewspro/helpers/adapter/k2.php on line 431

I updatet latest from janex download

t3 framework
t3 janewspro
nex-template t3.v1.1.3
k2 v2.7.1
cleared t3 cache, normal cache

but i still have this error.

It is a live site.

Kindly set the error report to NONE from global configurations and share the site super user details and FTP details of site via Private reply.
So that i can help you to fix it.
Make sure you are using latest version of the module.

Hi
Your site is based on Older Joomla2.5 and also the template and JA T3 plugin outdated.
Kindly take full backup of site and update the template and all JA extension to latest version.

I also suggest you tomigrate your Joomla since Joomla2.5 is no longer supported from long time.

Hope it fix the issue.

Your Joomla does not turn of the error report as i checked, Kindly try this
open the configuration.php file from the site folder open it from cpanel and set the error report to 0
As described Here
These are the php warning due when there is no k2 item found due to the PHP version.
You can downgrade the php version tp php5.3.29 also that work fine with Joomla2.5.x

Go to
modules/mod_janewspro/helpers/adapter/k2.php
find the line 341.

$row->event->K2BeforeDisplay = '';

and Change to

@$row->event->K2BeforeDisplay = '';

Hope it fix the issue.

thank you, this helped.

There are some more settings in the new mod-janewspro. I have problems with the sorting. In the old one, he sorted in the sort of the assigned articles. now i dont know how the sort ist, because acending und descending ist the same.
