    I install the JA Quartz template but I have some problem:
    With Firefox no problem but with IE THEY don’t open an image in the static content and I don’t know what can I do.
    I try to rewrite the content but same problem.
    This is the SITE http://www.supplyblog.it/controluce and the content is PAOLO POLI IL FOTOGRAFO look and clik with Internet Explorer and Firefox.

    Hi Roberto

    This is a very rare problem. The problem is infact with the image itself and not Joomla or the template.

    There is a part of the code of the JPEG that does not conform to Microsofts way of doing things so it does not display the image at all. All other browsers will ignore this code and still display the image as best they can. The error is usually so small that to the naked eye the image still looks perfect. But Microsoft, in their ‘wisdom’, decided that they would not display images at all if the ‘Marker Segment Length‘ is not right.

    Here is an example…

    The image above will display fine if you are viewing this page in any other browser except Internet Explorer but in Interent Explorer it will not display at all. (could be fixed in IE8, I don’t know).

    To fix the problem with your image…

    Open the page in Firefox and take a screenshot (Print screen). Then open that image in your favorite image editing programme and crop it down to the image you want and re-save. Then delete and replace your corrupt image.

    Your new image should display fine in all browsers.
