October 7, 2008 at 10:35 pm #134135I posted this at the end of a solved thread and then worried that no one would read it so I am posting again. Please forgive me for the double post.
How do I place a regular article with out the drop class showing up? I love the dropcap but some articles require no dropcap.
Any ideas?
Thanks!

click the search box at the top of the page here, and put Dropcap class into it and click the show threads…there is quite a few answers there…

October 9, 2008 at 3:42 am #274359i’m not getting the question
you have to add the drop cap manually, so if you don’t want it, don’t add it correct?

October 9, 2008 at 5:07 am #274376Nope! The Pyrite template has a class that adds the style to the first letter of the first paragraph of every article – automatically.
If I disable that in the style sheet then yes I can add it manually – yes- but the users that will input content need will be overwhelmed if they have to use tags.princess fiona Friendprincess fiona

October 13, 2008 at 2:28 am #274941hi
you can edit ja.script.js(templatesja_pyritejs folder)
Search those lines:
window.addEvent ('domready', function() {
addDropCap();
});
Comment or remove those lines —> your site will don’t auto have drop cat at first letterThen if you want what artciles have drop cat, you can edit directly that content as you want
