I just installer the "Event booking plugin" and when I add a category the picture is half the size as the other ones. I even copied the text from a pre existing category.

The problem comes from the markup in description of that category. You put the tag inside a

tag which has it own style so that the height looks like that.

<p><img src="images/eventbooking/category/cat1.jpg" alt="" /></p>

I removed the

tag and it displays fine now.

I am very sorry but it did this again and I am unable to understand what you said the issue was. Can you please help me understand what I am doing wrong and how to fix it.
