I’ve purchase and testing out this template. I don’t particularly like the timeline event display feature here:
http://ja-muzic.demo.joomlart.com/index.php/en/events
and would prefer a normal list view and/or a grid style (pintrest) like display. How best to change that.I do plan on using something like Jticketing with this template – will its event listing allow for different event list views. As suggestion would be nice if this template came with built-in capability allowing users to view event listings in different format (grid, list views, etc).

November 7, 2016 at 4:02 am #983974Hi
The event page is coming from the default template layouts .
In case you would like to customise the layout , you have to do custom work in the
templates/ja_muzic/HTML/com_content/category/event.php file and event_items.php file .
As u need a new layout , this requires pretty custom work in the PHP and CSS .
If you are not aware of the PHP and cs work , I suggest you hire a developer for this task .November 7, 2016 at 5:00 am #983980Hmm, ok thanks for info. I thought and hope this template offered flexibility for me (users) to make layout changes with out php coding work. Let me explore another theme framwork like YooTheme for this.

November 7, 2016 at 5:21 am #983987Yes in the layouts you can do changes like change in moduoe positions sizes add new blocks . But if you want to change the view of pre built layout ( menu type) you have to override the codes, it will be same in case of any Joomla templates .
Let me know if i am not understand your question , i will check it again for you.Pankaj Sharma ModeratorPankaj Sharma

November 7, 2016 at 6:59 am #984004Hi
you can check the demo site here : http://ja-events-ii.demo.joomlart.com/index.php/en/November 7, 2016 at 7:23 am #984009Yes, I’ve seen the demo BUT was hoping to see some other possible use of it. Sure, others may have done some other tweaks and layout.
Are you available for project work? I need a quick event site turn around…
