I have uploaded Eventlist and it all looks fine. However, I cannot find anywhere to assign EventList to a specific page or position on my website? Do i need to create a module first? If I do that still not sure how to assign EventList to that module.

AFAIK, eventlist is a third party app so they would probably be the best people to ask.

If event list is a component then you assigns a menu item to it. If it is a module you create the relevant module. I am sure the Eventlist website has full instructions.
