I have spent two days on this…. I REALLY need some help!!!!
I know how to change the size of masshead and contnet artilces etc that go there… I can also define exactly where to place modules BUT the regular articles just flow and float about in no specific logic (cant figure it out if there is >:( ).
– I would like to place articles in SPECIFIC positions in the home-1 grid.
– I would like to be able to CONTROL EXACTLY where and how i want to place ANY item on the gridSay i want I want an arrangement like this:

February 11, 2014 at 10:26 am #522200You can change the ‘sort’ order of the front page by changing the ‘Ordering’ in ‘Featured Articles’. Don’t use Slideshow, do it within the articles and you will get a slideshow – html is already in there if you look. Same with galleries etc.
You can quickly get it to look how you want. Hope that helps you.
February 11, 2014 at 8:54 pm #522262by the way thinks for the tip on the gallery, I KNOW about the content article feature but i wanted to use JA Slideshow instead…. that i already know how to do
I guess my question is when you look at this Module Class Suffix :
[ grid-2×2 grid-pos-2 highlight big-padding ] (for my masshead)
The pos-2 only defines the horizontal position. Is there an option for the vertical position?
I have moved things around but can get the two articles to stand above my Masshead

<blockquote>The pos-2 only defines the horizontal position. Is there an option for the vertical position? </blockquote>
I guess this is the main concern in your above questions. You just simply to put below texts to the Module Class Suffix option of that Slideshow module:
grid-3×2 grid-pos-1
Make sure you leave a space before the texts. You will need to override the css styles of this module to fit the homepage grid layout.
