One question: Is it possible that in a menu item insert various items (their titles) in which when you check title to expand the content of the article?

Hi asolellop,

Yes. You can use 2 main Joomla menu item types (Category Blog, Featured Articles) to display the Joomla articles titles and intro text, in which the content of article will open on its page item when you click on the article (item) title. Remember to clear JAT3 cache each time after saving any updates in backend.

To see what I mean. I have a menu item that shows me a list of items of the same category. I want you to mark on a title of an article display the article on the same page and also display the category titles in the same function.
What to mark a new title (article) to hide the previous one, to always be visible only one article but so are the titles of the other articles of the same function category.

Hi asolellop,

Well, this request will take much support time of us in customizing the Category Item layout of com_content to reach requirement, especially it is not under our forum support service. In this case, i suggest you to work with an experienced Joomla developer to help you handling this customization task.

But, I have another different solution that you can refer with using our JA Tabs plugin to display the articles in the same category. The detailed steps:

– Install and enable the JA Tabs plugin.

– Create a Single Article menu item as child menu of Doctoral Industrial, which links to an article. In this article, you can put the ja-tabs codes to display the articles.

i.e:

{jatabs type="articles" ids="25, 26, 27" ajax=true view="introtext" position="right" widthTabs=150 width=530 animType="animMoveVir"} {/jatabs}


>> IDs are the item ID of the articles you want to display.

You can download the latest version of JA Tabs plugin from JA Mitius download section http://www.joomlart.com/forums/downloads.php?do=file&id=3287. The latest version of JA Tabs will be released in the JA University download section whenever the template is updated and tested again.
