expanding slideshow to full width

    hi,

    i just downloaded ja nickel last week and have been working to customize it to my needs. there are two things i can’t seem to figure out, as i don’t quite have the CSS expertise.

    1. i’d like the slideshow to span the across the top of the page. i can get this to work until i publish something in the left module position; then the slideshow gets pushed over. see image for example.

    2. i’d like to have the main content publish all the way on the left and have both left and right columns publish on the right. is this possible or way too complicated?

    sorry, my site is not live yet and i don’t have a testing server, otherwise i would include a URL. also, i’m working in joomla 1.5.
