I been trying to improve the performance of my site using yslow as my measuring tool. One of the areas I am failing is my expire headers.
Most of the ones listed are my s3 files. It looks like there is an expire header but the date format is wrong, starting with the year. For example:
(1997/7/26) http://dreconnect.s3.amazonaws.com/site_images/Loyola-Press-logo.gifI have modified my .htaccess file to set all images to expire an year from access but this does not affect s3 files. Any suggestions?

September 12, 2011 at 2:10 am #412079Hello mate,
Which version of JA Amazon S3 are you using?
Since version 2.0.0, you can config “Browser Cache lifetime” for your files.
You can find this option on “Profile Settings Form”.September 12, 2011 at 6:13 pm #412201I am using 2.0.1. I have set the browser cache lifetime to 100000 and I have set it to 0. It does not matter, I still get an expire date of (1997/7/26).
September 15, 2011 at 1:52 pm #412870I received an email saying that this ticket was close for no response within 72 hours. Do you mean you that you have not responded to my post within 72 hours? Since I believe I responded to your post very clearly above within 24 hours. I am stilling waiting to hear back from you, 72 hours later.

Hello mate,
I’m sorry about late response.
You must delete files on S3 server and upload them again to get expire header is updated.
(Because header information will be only updated when your file is uploaded or updated.)FYI:The kayako’s ticket will be automatically closed if member (you) does not have any action within 72 hours.
So, please update status of ticket to “open” if you have reply on forums.September 19, 2011 at 6:27 pm #413678Thank you for the response.
I would like to make two requests. In the future, if we need to response to your forum post by using the ticket system, please post this in the forum response you post.
It would also be nice as a future feature that we could download in mass from the s3 server within the component admin features like we can with the delete option.
