    I get no notification at all. What message do you get?

    It sounds like you need to update your copy of IE. Attach a screenshot to your next post.

    I’ve done my upgrade and it now doesn’t show. Is there something I can do to turn this off? I am building this for a customer and if I can help it, I don’t want any errors to appear on their customer side. I am not using any modules or extensions that require an up-to-date browser. I know in previous templates, I had the ability to turn off the ie warning. How can I do this with this template?

    Now I know what message you are on about. Scotty answered that in the link provided by nefar but here you go.

    Simply find the templates>ja_halite>layouts folder and at the bottom of each layout file (default.php, 1column.php etc) you will find the following code.

    <?php if ($this->isIE6()) : ?>
    <?php $this->loadBlock('ie6/ie6warning') ?>
    <?php endif; ?>

    Simply comment this out in each layout you are using and you will be sorted.
