I’ve made my comments (6k +) export from joomla 1.5 and tried to import the jacomment.xml file to my new site (joomla 2.5). And the result is:

XML Parsing Error at 123:547. Error 23: EntityRef: expecting ‘;’

Import data successfully 291 record(s)

What is the problem?

I think there is a problem with export tool on Joomla 1.5. Could you please send me your exported file? Then I can help you debug this one.

Hello 321kumisz,

Open the XML file. Then simply replace Tom&Jerry with Tom&Jerry. Re-import it and you’re done.

Is it just with “&”? Or more entities could be needed

Yes, simply replace Tom&Jerry with Tom&Jerry.
