I’m running the JA Nex 2.5 template on a Joomal 2.5.4 site (see http://therebel.org/.) After installing K2, suddenly the extended menus are no longer working. The main menu points are showing but the sub menu options are not. When I disabled the K2 extensions in the extensions mangager, the extended menus started working again. Turning them back on, one by one, returned the result that the one and only K2 extension conflicting with the mega menu is the K2 System extension. I checked in the extensions manager and there are no settings in the K2 System plugin that I could change to make the extended mega menu properly display the submenu points.

Just a quick update. The extended menu works properly if I disable the Javascript optimisation function of the template. Disabling compression/minify alone didn’t do the trick, but after disabling joining as well, the menu no longer conflicted with the K2 system plugin.

Hi andrewwinkler,

I have seen this problem and was reported before and I think it has been fixed into the Jat3 system plugin, I guess your Jat3 system plugin is an old version if it is just try to upgrade to the latest one, even if upgrading still not not help I will have a further checking for you 🙂

I’m using the JA T3 Framework version 2.5.1 The JA extensions manager thinks that it is the latest version.
