i have the same problem with joomla 2.5.6 and JA RAVE 2.5.0 and extension manager.
i am unable to extend the following :
JA Popup Plugin for Joomla 2.5 version 2.5.6
JA Rave Template for Joomla 2.5 version 2.5.2
JA Slideshow Module for Joomla 2.5 version 2.5.5
i have the following message : sorry it is in french

Type d’archive inconnu
Le chemin de mise à jour n’existe pas = path doesnt exist
JInstaller: :Install : impossible de trouver un fichier d’initialisation XML Joomla! no xml initialisation file
Impossible de détecter le fichier manifest

Any body could help?

Hi Jga,
Did you upgrade our extension thru Extension Manager of Joomla.
JA products are commercial so please use JA Extension Manager to upgrade.

i tried to update through joomla extent manager which reference the following links :
http://update.joomlart.com/service/tracking/j16/plg_system_japopup.xml
http://update.joomlart.com/service/tracking/j16/ja_rave.xml
http://update.joomlart.com/service/tracking/j16/mod_jaslideshow.xml

no one of these links works
the link which you gave me on wiki for reference concern joomlart 1.5 component i am working with 2.5.0.

any other recommendation :confused:

No, please don’t use Joomla Extent Manager default to update our extension.
JA products are commercial so you have to use JA Extension Manager to upgrade ( Back-end >> Components >> JA Extension Manager)

Yes, but there’s no different in setting of version for J15 and J25. You can use this wiki for your site in Joomla 2.5.

Hi Luna,

i have followed your advice to update System – JA Popup plugin
i have down loaded the zip file plg_system_japopup.v2.5.6.zip
it was uploaded in the rollback system, the check update found this new version but unfortunately when i click on the link upgrade now i got these following messages :

Errors occured during upgrading, please fix them fist
MySQL path is not configed
MySQL Dump path is not configed
Local repository path is not configed

so now what i dont know what to do, i have not so much expertise.

Hello

Please go to Back-end >> Extension >> JA Extension Manager >> Configuration >> no change, just click Save.

The setting for JA Extension Manager will be saved.
