April 11, 2013 at 5:57 pm #186677Hi,
I’m having trouble with the ‘update’ function in ‘Extension Manager’ on Joomla 2.5 (PHP 5.2.17), there are 5 updates. When I try to update I get the following error:
1 – An error has occurred.
Copy failedI’ve tried to find an answer for this but struggling, anyone have any ideas or experience of this?
Regards,

April 11, 2013 at 7:36 pm #489582Blimey thanks Pavit, I’m not quite sure how you did that, I’ve had nothing but problems since installing the quickstart for JA Mero (Joomla 2.5).
Actually I just tried updating the rest of the other updates as you mentioned and got a new error, I feel a bit stupid I’ve hardly started implementing this website and getting knocked down at every hurdle, it’s wasting a lot of time.
I apologise but the the new error is attached, I got the same error when trying to add a new menu item.
I was recommended to turn the debug on by my host so I have done.
I’m tempted just to delete this site and start a fresh as something’s definitely not right.

I think that is this the best solution in the actual situation
Reinstall again the quickstart version of the template starting ( if you can ) with a new db for it
If you encounter again some error, report it in this thread we will try to help you to solve this issue
Regards
