i downloaded today Purity III and installed the quick start. It created 279 Tables in the DB.

I found tables in the DB for extensions which are not present in this joomla installation.

Mainly for Extensions which creates tables with these prefix: community_, discuss_, kunena_, social_
Out of 279 tables 200 tables are with the above _prefixes_.

so is this some kind of mistake or what? Plz clarify.

But what if any user not using any of these extensions?
Also if these are for sample data of these extensions then these should not be there when not installing sample data!

Like i am not using any of these extensions and also not installed any sample data but still these extra 200 Tables are there…
These table are completely unnecessary and sort of hurdle while working directly with the DB…. for finding and scrolling between long list of tables… Such waste of time!

Creating these tables without their respective extensions doesn’t make any sense at all.
Or if you are really willing to provide this… give an additional .sql file to insert such tables and their data.
