Hi
I would like to use the ‘coding,devices,interaction module (image attached) but instead of the ‘read more’ button linking off to articles I would like to link off to an external website instead. Is this possible please, what files would I need to modify?

Hi
This is default Joomla articles category module , and the Readmore is linked to The article page for all articles .
You can add the link but it will be a static link and that will not full fill your needs .
In this case i suggest you to add a Link in your article intro text and then link the work Read more or anything you like to external url .
For example Here i linked a work to external url in article : http://prntscr.com/b0siut
On front end you can see it here: http://prntscr.com/b0siyo
You can Turn off the default Readmore from Module options and increase the Intro text limits
