February 8, 2013 at 8:07 pm #184805Hi,
Have some articles that link from the homepage, I’m trying to set up a new menu in mainnav that will point back to the divs on the homepage ( ?Itemid=435#our_portfolio ) all that seams to do in add #our_portfolio to the url.
Any ideas how I can get this working??

February 13, 2013 at 7:32 am #483277Hi kim24,
All your concern is to add new menu in the main menu that points to a specific block. It is one part in Onepage site, we have very detailed instruction for this in our Userguide:
Link: http://www.joomlart.com/forums/topic/ja-one-page-template-userguide/
III. Create OnePage Site this part shows you how to add new menu in the main menu and match it with a content section in homepage.Regards.

February 15, 2013 at 11:49 am #483551Thanks Luna,
I’ve had a look through that, but what I’m trying to do is link back to the homepage from another page on the site, an article that has it’s own page. All the menu is doing is placing the DIV name at the end of the article URL ( portfolio/102-carphone-warehouse#our_portfolio) instead of returning to the homepage. Perhaps I’m not seeing the wood for the trees.
I can get this working on a new menu in position sidebar-1 using the external link menu type & adding the #div_name as the link but not when I place that ‘new menu’ into the mainnav position.
I have a need for this so I really hope someone can/has tried this and finds a solution. :-[
Thanks
Kim

February 15, 2013 at 12:20 pm #483556Edit: I found the mainnav smooth scroll script in the header.php file that is replacing the url, when it commented out the code work fine (ish)… the smoothness is gone (ok it would) and the mainnav and logo are over the name of the module,

February 18, 2013 at 2:55 pm #483804Thanks Luna, that perfect, works great 😀
One small thing, the menu appears to be styled with a graduated box (see attached). Where would I look to remove that?
Regards & thanks again,
Kim
