    Hello!

My filter has 2 extra-field Regions and Cities. Each Region includes several Cities. Please let me know if it is possible to create such a filter form using Ja K2?:

    1. User chooses definite region in field Regions
    2. Then in field Cities user can see/choose only cities which belongs to definite Region (not all cities from the list).

Can I do that with Dynamic Counter and how?

    Thank you beforehand!

Yes, you can make it. Setting JA K2 Filter Module like this capture: http://static.joomlart.com/images/userguide/jaec/ja_k2_filter/update/auto-filter.png

You can set Disable Option to Hide/Disable.

    Hello Luna!
My Setting JA K2 Filter Module looks like this (file is attached).
    I don’t have option in Menu ItemID – K2 filter 🙁
    Could you help me please!

And one more question to this setting. Now on me front-end filter form I have field “Order by”. I did not set this field up. How can I delete this field from front-end?

    Thank You beforehand!

    Hi,

Don’t mind the Menu ItemID, in latest version, its in Search Result Settings. Setting this option follow MenuID and this menu ID must be assigned to K2 component or K2 Filter component in your site.

In order to hide “Order by”, set Display Ordering Box to No in module JA K2 filter setting.

Hallo Luna! Thank you for respond.
    1. I mean that I don’t have option “K2 filter” to choose in Menu ItemID. Sorry maybe I did not understand what do you mean in your post above 🙁
    2. Do you have instruction or tutorial how to set up above mentioned filter: 1.- User chooses definite region in field Regions, 2. Then in field Cities user can see/choose only cities which belongs to definite Region (not all cities from the list).
After setting JA K2 Filter Module like above mentioned capture, I don’t know what should be others steps for creating such type of filter.

    Thank You beforehand!

    Hi,

    1. Param Menu ItemID will list all Menu and its Menu Item ID of your site, and option “K2 filter” is just a demo I show you. You have to setting this option follow MenuID on your site and make sure this menu ID assigned to K2 component or K2 Filter component.

    2. Tutorial how to set up above mentioned filter.
    – Regions and Cities must be in one K2 Extra Field group.
    – In module JA K2 Filter, set like this capture.

You read more about Dynamic Feature in our document: http://www.joomlart.com/documentation/joomla-component/ja-k2-filter#version-107 find for feature 2.

Or please follow this post for the detail: http://www.joomlart.com/forums/topic/it-is-possible-with-ja-k2-filter/
