RobHi Rob I see you have menu items under your home menu which by convention is a no no, but I see no extra menu on top only the normal split view menu system that is home!news!sport!etc in the black area underneath is the submenu items associated with the top items. that’s why they call it split menu the menu type can be changed in the backend in the template manager etc
Maybe you need to read the userguide to familiarise yourself with the template operation?
Blessings ShannonJune 17, 2010 at 10:58 pm #347412I found the position in the template and adapted it to my needs.
thanks for your reply.June 28, 2010 at 2:47 pm #348314I have this extra menu problem too. I haven’t installed it via quick start and am too far into it to do go back to the beginning. can you give me a clue as to how you got rid of it please 🙂

August 16, 2010 at 2:22 pm #352831I also have the same problem. At least I am glad to know it was not too hard to solve, but… any more instructions woudl be helpful. 🙂 Mine is at http://testsite.shalomadventure.com for now. It is also on what will be the production site at http://www.shalomadventure.com
I wonder if I might have not installed the template correctly because there are a couple of ‘positions’ that are on the User Guide image that I have not been able to findL HEADLINES and JA MENU are the two I am looking for right now.
Thank you, Sean

Headlines position is available from the drop-down menu on modules’ back-end.
I didnt’ find “ja menu” position, but there is “megamenu” one. It’s a place for JA megamenu module, which creates “mega-item” positions.
In general, if you cannot find a position in the drop-down list, try to type it in (field “Positon” from module back-end accepts this).scarney Friendscarney

August 16, 2010 at 7:38 pm #352864Yes, you are correct. I have found all the modules spaces. Actually user 1-5 was not included in the template user guide image but I found them at the top. There is one that I am not figuring out how to place anything into yet. But progress is being made. The one I have not been able to place anything into is called megamenu. I hope to find some documentation answers soon. Thank you for your reply!
Once I know how to place content into all the positions I will start trying to use this template with iJoomla magazine.
