I need an extra right column in JA Beryl for ads.
Does anybody have any suggestions how to do this?

Are you prepared to make the rest of your site narrower? It’s a bad idea to widen the site. All JA templates are optimised for 1024×768 screen resolution because it is still the most popular size. If you widen yours then A. you will add vertical scrollbars to your site. B. most people will never use these and thus will never see your ads.

You can narrow the site and add in the ad column but it’s a lot of messing around with css.

Hello,

Why not use the horizontal modules, or custom code them to show the ads.

As scotty rightly suggests that reducing the widths will make it feel like your website is ad centric and ppl will forget to read the central part of the website.
