Hello
We use JA Wall and would like to automatically extract the first photo of a video to show in the category items of ja wall when there is no photo posted within the item but only a video

Did you anticipate this case in template tools.php ? or did someone already try the same thing ?

It is easy to get a photo within intro text from k2 or com content but how can we do when there is only a video in intro text or in k2 ?

Hi,

Unfortunately, we haven’t provided such kind of function in JA Wall yet but we do support article with video in JA Magz here.

Since it will require lots of work to merge this function from JA Magz to JA Wall, we cannot assist you in such task and you might want to hire a developer to do it for you.
