You have to set the Extra fields tab in the article’s category to More-info first.
Then enter the fa-icon you want to use in the JA Extra Fields tab in the articles.

As Tim said you need to Add the icon from Article options >>> JA Extra Field Tab > > > http://prntscr.com/aopk1d
