I am confused about the domain field. I was thinking it would ask for my facebook ID, for example 131698770238899 or something like that.

Please advise what I am missing here.

The domain field is referred to your domain on facebook

You must create a facebook page, in the procedure for creating a page Facebook require a link to your site
