    Hi, looking for a way to comment K2 items using facebook. Does anybody use already?
    This is how to translate “share” button into another languate change template.css file in
    public_html/components/com_k2/templates/default
    line 318
    js.src = "//connect.facebook.net/en_US/all.js#appId=yourappidnumber&xfbml=1";
    Change en_US to your needed language if any except English is needed.

    Another question – where can I find someting like Nex item.php for K2? Need to edit as above. Because when Nex or Nex_blog is chosen for k2 item “share” button before the comments is in English again.

    Hi again,

    You can check the overridden files/folder of this JA Nex template for K2 in: templatesja_nexhtmlcom_k2templatesnex and nex_blog folder

    Hi, thanx for explanation. That helped.
    Saguaros, I can not use Nex_blog theme for categories, because it has issues in top of the articles where social buttons interfere within intro text or heading. See JA NEX demo site’ Nex blog item and attached images:
    As you see Facebook is over the text, and the second picture shows twitcount much wider comparing to demo.

    P.S. template and component’s are uptodate.

    I’m having the same problem with the “Be the first of your friends to like this” in the blog running into the article. Let me know if anyone has found a solution.

    Hi there,
    You can make change easily by using Google chrome inspect element or Firebug for Firefox. What I usually do is set Compress CSS in Template manager to No, then hover on any button you want and right click on it and then click on inspect element, it will show you which CSS class it is using and which CSS file and the path to this button on the right side. then you can go to the file and replace it with new CSS you change.

    Ok I inspected elements on demo site and it offers lines like
    div.itemViewBlog .itemSocialSharing {
    Which are situated ja-nex/t3-assests including many different css files. Could you say is it the way to change or should we find ‘parent’ item located somewhere like k2.css or fb.k2.css etc.? Just to be sure if I am going right direction. Because on this forum I haven’t ever met offers to edit .css files in t3-assets, as they seem to be a temporary ones and may differ on every website.

    Editing code in inspecting mode I could only place the whole container with social items on the left border. And that is palcing lower the facebooks “Be the first of your friends…” . In case I succeed changing facebook, then will it effect on social elements in K2 Nex layout used instead of Nex_blog in K2 categories?

    Hi again,

    You should not edit file in t3-assest folder cause this folder contain cache file and compressed css file, before you use inspect element mode, please set Compress CSS template manager to No, then it will show exact file – not file in t3-assest folder.

    If you find it difficult, post your url here and some screenshot of how you wanna achieve, I shall help you.

    regards.
