August 25, 2011 at 3:59 am #167767I am having issues with my Jomsocial Facebook Connect feature. Jomsocial said that it is due to “The all.js file is loaded two times in your site” Also… “Could you please contact with the Joomlart for this double javascript load issue? The template should check for loaded all.js script to avoid duplicate loading.”
Can you guys please help me out with this? Thanks!

August 25, 2011 at 4:20 am #408290Beside that, after disabled js compress mode. I found you are using corejoomla
http://bladeitback.com/plugins/corejoomla/jquery/jquery/jquery-1.5.1.min.js
This plugin also include jQuery ( 1.5.1 ). JomSocial is using jQuery 1.4.3 modified version to prevent jQuery conflict trouble. In this case, if corejoomla have no special code with jQuery 1.5.1 i most prefer remove this jQuery instance ( it also help you for save bandwidth ).
Thank you

August 25, 2011 at 2:22 pm #408455T3 or any Joomla template framework with JS Compressor function will combine all js founded in site ( via API ) and: compress / merging .
It should be fine by normally logic. Ya .! But Using jQuery & Mootools in a site will need jQuery enabled noConflict mode RIGHT AFTER JQUERY INCLUDED AND BEFORE ANY MOOTOOLS SCRIPTS.
Compressor until now yet not enough smart to do that. So it should make trouble with conflict 😉1 user says Thank You to jooservices for this useful post

August 26, 2011 at 1:58 am #408602Hi
#1:
If you keep using corejoomla you’ll need modify it to prevent directly include jQuery as i’ve mentioned above .
#2:
Avoid using js compressor or at least exclude jQuery instance.
#3:
I suggest to use SC plugin which one will allow you install jQuery without trouble. And please keep it loaded before any else system plugin to it could put jQuery at top of queue 🙂Because your site under offline than i can’t try to check FBC for you. Please turn it on than i can go around for checking.
Thank you
