    Hello,

I recently repaired my Instagram feed thanks to @dead Code fix posted here, however I am having the same issue with my Facebook feed! All my other feeds are now working and pulling in new content after a cron –

I have updated the plugin and have searched the forums for several solutions – anyone know if Facebook has changed their feed also?

    Thank you

    Hi

I’m using JA Social Feed plugin version 1.1.5 with JA Wall and I can still import feed from Facebook: http://prntscr.com/4cyqxj

Please make sure that in the configuration for the Facebook in backend settings of this plugin, you add Facebook Page ID, not the Facebook Profile ID: http://prntscr.com/4cyr0v

    Then clean all caches.

    Hello again:

The problem I have is that the plugin has stopped charging the contents of Facebook, when it did successfully until last day 12 since not charge any Content posted on any of the Facebook Fan Page that I have configured.

They know that it can be being the problem?

    Thank you

Could you send me the page ID where you want to import feeds from? I will try to import on my side.

    Hi Saguaros

The problem was corrected by updating the plugin to version 1.5. 😉

But there is a new problem, just load 5 items, and if the navigation barrra not load no other moves. Is there a solution for this?

You can see it at: http://www.valldignavip.com/vist-a-facebook

Thank you for your attention and help

I updated mine also – I have 3 separate pages that I import from…it just stopped working so I updated the plugin and the template and I still have nothing.

I am running on a VPS and have all the latest updates.

    Thanks

@eidherjulian61: In backend settings of menu item of this page, you may set to show only 5 intro articles, you can try to increase to your desired value via parameter: Number of Intro articles http://prntscr.com/4e7qih

@ibewguy: did you try to clean Joomla cache and browser cache? If problem still persists, you can PM me URL, admin and ftp credentials of your site, I will have a look. Also tell me the category and menu item page which is displaying feeds

OK I did PM the credentials while ago but saw that you never logged in so I disabled them…

I have checked my database and everything I can think of – the Facebook portion of this plugin just stopped working – period!!

I am open to any other suggestions you may have!

    Thanks

    Hi IBEWguy,

Do you mean that it doesn’t import FB feeds any more? Could you PM me the admin and ftp credentials of your site again? and also tell me the menu item which is displaying FB feeds. I will try to check for you.

Hello @saquaros and thank you for your willingness to help me. I updated the plugin to the September 8 release and my Facebook feed is working again – not sure what was wrong??

However, the following error message is now generated

Notice: Trying to get property of non-object in /home/myfolder/public_html/plugins/system/jasocial_feed/jasocial_feed.php on line 1607

Warning: DOMDocument::loadXML(): Start tag expected, ‘<‘ not found in Entity, line: 1 in /home/myfolder/public_html/plugins/system/jasocial_feed/jasocial_feed.php on line 1574

Another moderator posted a solution for the Facebook double image issue and ever since that time these errors are generated whenever I turn on error reporting in Joomla. Even though I removed his solution, the page still generates this error.

However, it is now generating the error when I manually run a cron – which it has never done before.

The feed is working again and I can remove the error by turning off the reporting, but do you have any insight into why I am getting this error?

    Thanks
    IBEWguy
