January 26, 2014 at 5:29 pm #194112Hello everyone,
When URL to site running Apollio is pasted into Facebook comment then this text “Responsive Joomla product portfolio template for Joomla 2.5 and Joomla 3 – JA Appolio. Support Bootstrap 3 at core and many powerful features.” is displayed.
I can’t find where this is being pulled from.
Have checked the template parameters, xml file, homepage menu link parameters, rss feeds and still cant find it.
Any suggestions?
For example, I created a site using demo builder, the url is http://c7c54d83d65996db.builder.joomlart.com/
Copy that URL and go to Facebook and paste as if yu are writing a new comment. FB looks fopr images and displays that test.Simon

January 27, 2014 at 5:38 am #519953Hello MoonSailor,
Yes, that parameter has already been changed too.
Cache is currently off, so nothing to clear and it is being displayed when anyone posts the URL on Facebook.Simon

January 27, 2014 at 2:10 pm #520041OK, solution is to do with Facebook cache.
If the URL is posted to FB without changing the parameters in the main menu first, FB will retain this.
This maybe useful to some users: https://developers.facebook.com/tools/debug
As it shows what Facebook is reading from the URL.Case closed
