My facebook doesnt work , twitter doesnt work and youtube doesnt work either… in addition i dont see the instagram… is it possible to login to my backend

Im i able to get any help on this matter.. i have opened support tickets and posted post and still have nothing.. is anyone able to login to verify what is wrong… facebook isnt the only one having issue… and instagram isnt even listed on the plugin

While I’d like to help, if you have sent support tickets it’s best to let the official support team handle it, I imagine they have your ticket and are looking into it first before posting here. any thing I do may conflict with their work in progress.

John, I’m having the same problem with Facebook, “Facebook Syndication Error”. I’m certain I have my Facebook ID correct. I’ve tried every suggestion on this board. No Facebook. Twitter and YouTube are working fine. I bought my Wall only three days ago, so I have the current code. Any suggestions?

Hi jkriordan,

You JA Social Feed plugin might be the latest version (and We will release a new JA Wall version today, upgrade to Joomla 2.5.6).
Please check again your facebook account. JA Social Feed plugin only work with Facebook page.
Your facebook account might be a personal account. We can not get feeds from facebook personal account due to privacy policy of Facebook. Hope you understand.
You can check your result by click on Verify button. If it does not return any feed then JA Social Feed can not import anything.

Please create a facebook page or convert your facebook account to a page (I would not recommend you do it).
Please take reference from facebook for how to convert your account to a page.

I just paid for Wall a few days ago and I also cant get Facebook to work. The Verify returns results. I do the Cron now, and when I check the articles, nothing.

It is frustrating, but not the end of the world.

Thanks for a fresh new template.

Anywhere to find samples of what people are doing with Wall?

Joomlart tech support told me the problem was that I have a Facebook personal account, which doesn’t support RSS. They suggested I create a Facebook Page, which is meant for businesses and organizations, yet is still free. It worked!

Be careful! You can CONVERT your Facebook personal account to a page, but that will wipe out everything on your old account. Once you’ve created your NEW page, it’s linked to your OLD personal account and you can invite friends to your new page.

Consult Facebook Help. Search “create page”.

Flickr is also a headache. As far as I can tell, you can only bring Flickr Photostreams into a Wall. Many Flickr users disable Photostreams. idgettr.com is good for getting Flickr IDs, but won’t tell you if someone offers a Photostream. Scroll down to the bottom of their Flickr profile to find out.

Since I’m new to both Joomla and The Wall, the learning curve is steep!

As I said, if I click the verify button, it opens a new page and the rss feed shows what articles should be created, but it wont do any articles. It also wont create any Mashable Page articles.

It is a public page of a politician, not their personal profile.

As I said, not the end of the world.
