Can anyone please help me, i am getting this error message

Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 16777216 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 819201 bytes) in /home/calvaryc/public_html/elvela/libraries/joomla/environment/response.php on line 175

Hi xion !
This is problem with memory limit of your host, you can contact with host provider to increate limit of memory or you can do it yourself following way below :
Open php.ini file and find following code line and change value of it :


memory_limit = 8M ; // edit this attribute as you wish

Thanks hainn84, but where can I find the php.ini?

now i am getting another error

You should contact your host, not all providers let you edit your php.ini.

problem fixed 🙂
i contacted my hosting provider and they just adjusted the allowed memory on the php.ini
