Getting this on Telein iV joomla 1.6

I’m getting the same error after changing some items in the JA News Featured module. I was attempting to discover why an article marked as featured would not appear in the “Featured” area on the front page. I changed “Display Featured Articles” from “show only featured articles” to “show.” This is where the fatal error displayed.

Changing the item back to default and clearing the cache didn’t solve the error.

I was able to overcome this error by disabling the JA News – Default Layout and JA News – Pulse Layout.

If you mean how to disable the modules, just go to Extensions/Module Manager and do a search. Then simply select the modules and hit the “unpublish” button at the top of the admin screen.

i was getting the same error.

go modules JA News – Linear Layout, and pulse Layout find Maximum Subcategories its show -1? change it as positive number.
