    Hello, I am receiving this error message upon publishing JA Slideshow2 Module:

    “Fatal error: Call to a member function getTemplate() on a non-object in /home/content/52/6159052/html/indeara/modules/mod_jaslideshow2/mod_jaslideshow2.php on line 117”

    Could you post a fix?? :confused:

    thx

    Only JA Slideshow3 can be installed on joomla 1.6, have you mistakenly used slideshow2? It is for j1.5.

    Following the user guide standards, I installed slideshow 2 over a “Go Daddy” Install of the updated J1.6. Could you provide a download link for slideshow 3?

    Thank you for your response.

    Hi Indeara333,

    To resolve the problem “image overlays top.topsl”, please do as following:
    – Open the file “template.css” in the folder “templates/ja_bussiness/css/”, then add this style at the end of file content:

    .ja-slide-main-wrap {
    margin-bottom: 10px;

    }

    – Clean cache in your site.

    1. Misaligngment of “popular” usr 1,2,3 position(s)
    2. Text in slideshow

    Thank You for your help 😉

    Hi Ideara333,

    To resolve the “text in slideshow” problem, please do as following:
    – Go to admin > extensions > module manager > JA Slideshow2, then setting params as:

    Main item width = 970
    Show description = “Description & Readmore”

    To resolve the “misalignment” problem, please do as following:
    – Open the modules at the user 1,2,3 position(s), then change position to “content-mass-top”.
    – Clean cache in your site.

    Hi Indeara333,

    What the modules have content shifted to the right? do you want the module content aligned center?
    Please try do as following:
    – Open the file “template.css” in the folder “templates/ja_business/css/”, then add this style at the end of file content:

    .ja-inset2 div.ja-moduletable, .ja-inset2 .div.moduletable, .ja-inset2 div.ja-module, .ja-inset2 div.module {
    text-align: center;

    }

    – Clean cache in your site.

    I’m noticing that in the “Rainbow” color scheme there is a horizontal rainbow colored image at the bottom of the demo template. This is not coming up on my installation, how do i get it to appear? thanks
