I installed the quickstart, and edit k2 content from frontend, then got below error:

Fatal error: Call to a member function isCheckedOut() on null in /home/…/administrator/components/com_k2/views/item/view.html.php on line 100

Its issue from K2 and your Joomla. I suggest you to post the issue on K2 support forum Here
So they can check and give u a fix for this.
