    Hi,

I got the following error when I create a new user (front-end) and then try to view my profile by going to forum -> my profile.

Fatal error: Call to a member function getParameters() on a non-object in /home/tkc12/public_html/gamersmingle.com/components/com_comprofiler/plugin/user/plug_cbcore/cb.core.php on line 528

Please login the front-end and try the username (drac) and password (dracpass).

    Thank you.

    URL is: http://www.gamersmingle.com

I just went and tried it in IE7 and Seamonkey and no problems? Did you get it fixed?

    🙂

    Hi jimmer,

It is still showing me the error when you click on the My Profile under the Forums when you logged in as the following created user (it is fine for other users though..):

    Front-end
    username: drac
    password: dracpass

    Hello,

I think you should check this forum. I think that is a fix.

    http://www.bestofjoomla.com/component/option,com_fireboard/Itemid,38/func,view/catid,86/id,54475/

Read the 4th Reply in that forum post. That should do it.

    Regards,
    Mihir C.

    Hi Mihir,

I have changed the codes but it didn’t help out.. I think my error is different from what the post states.. the post you pointed out is related to Foreach loop but not my getParameters()..

Are you using the latest version (1.2) ? or an RC version, or a 1.1 version?

AFAIK 1.2 should fix all these errors.

I am experiencing the same error:

Fatal error: Call to a member function getParameters() on a non-object in /home/public_html/components/com_comprofiler/plugin/user/plug_cbcore/cb.core.php on line 528

I would like to try your suggested fix of upgrading to version 1.2, but I’m not sure what you are referring to.

I’m using JA Sanidine for Joomla v1.5, but its highest version at this time is v1.1.

JA Sanidine II for Joomla v1.5 goes as high as v1.0 at this time.

Fireboard is only at v1.0.4 stable and v1.0.5RC2.

My apologies if I’m missing something very obvious, but I can’t find the item that is version 1.2.

EDIT: D’oh! Found it: Community Builder has a v1.2. Sorry about that 😀

UPDATE: Yes, upgrading to Community Builder v1.2 fixed the problem.

Community Builder has recently released version 1.2. that should do it. I think you don’t need to be a suscriptor anymore to download it. Im writting this now in order to other users that might be confused as you are to know they can go to joomlapolis.com and download latest version of Community builder.
