My apologies if this is a duplicate post. But I could not find my earlier post when looking for replies.
I just installed ja avian II using the quickstart package. If I use the default dark template I get this error
Fatal error: Class ‘JA_’ not found in …./templates/ja_avian_ii_d/ja_vars.php on line 55
But if I use either of the other template in Avain II , I do not get the error. This seems more like a bug than a user installation error?
Thanks
Jim

Thanks for the reply.
The params.ini file in the -d and -i templates IS writeable, but the error message only occurs with the -d template immediately after install. The params.ini file in the -i template is NOT writeable, but the error does not occur with that template.
This was a clean install, and, I would suspect, reproducible, because I downloaded a fresh copy of the Avian II template and reinstalled in a new folder. But the problem persists.

September 5, 2008 at 2:09 pm #268938I used the contact sheet to report what seemed to be a big in the avianII -d template. But with their help, we just rracked down, this morning, the cause of the error. It was a setting (cannot determine which one) in my Firefix installation.
After doing a complete uninstall of Firefox, INCLUDING SETTINGS AND COOKIES ETC…,
